Features & Benefits

Evicide® CHA offers a dual functionality by combining antimicrobial performance with effective metal ion chelation. It inhibits microbial growth by binding essential metal ions, thereby enhancing preservation systems and enabling reduced use of conventional preservatives. It improves formulation stability, protects against oxidation and degradation, and performs effectively even at neutral pH. It performs especially well against fungi and mold.

Applications

Evicide® CHA is suitable for a wide range of cosmetic applications, including creams, lotions, gels and cleansers. In aqueous systems solubilizers or solvents are needed. Appearance: white crystalline powder. Solubility: water dispersible; solubility improved with surfactants, solvents or heating. It is added to the water phase under stirring and is heat stable up to 80°C, making it compatible with hot and cold processes.
