If you are looking for a strong preservation effect without using Phenoxyethanol, MIT or Parabens, you have come to the right place. Evicide® EC 8 is comprised of the highly antimicrobially active Caprylyl Glycol, which is boosted by Ethylhexylglycerin. This liquid blend can be used in all kinds of formulations, at any pH.

Applications

This blend does not contain a listed preservative, but still shows a high antimicrobial efficacy at the recommended concentration. Both rinse-off and leave-on concepts are possible with Evicide® EC 8. At high concentrations, emulsion stability must be checked.
