Features & Benefits

This antimicrobial mixture comprises of a well-balanced choice of active ingredients. Phenoxyethanol is known for its strong preservation effect. Caprlyly Glycol acts as an amphiphilic boosting agent, and Sorbic Acid is an organic acid known from food preservation. Evicide® PS 8 combines these three ingredients into one synergistic and highly effective blend.

Applications

This blend can be used to protect any kind of formulation type, though it works best when the pH is below 6. The water solubility is limited at approx 1.0%, but if glycols or surfactants are in play, obtaining a clear solution is possible.
