This blend offers a strong antimicrobial effect to protect any formulation from spoilage - without the use of Phenoxyethanol, MIT, Parabens, or other controversial preservatives. The unconventional solvent Triethyl Citrate not only ensures easy incorporation into cosmetic formulations, it also means that Evicide® TB 8 can be used as a solvent for actives.

Applications

Suitable for both rinse-off and leave on concepts. The antimicrobial efficacy is highest if the pH is below 6.0, but at a higher use concentration of about 1.5%, a pH of up to 7.0 is workable.
